Yeah it was pretty wild. If I remember correctly the rules were that nobody could bring in their own food. They HAD to buy from the vendors. It was pretty fucking sad. The people were treated like animals. Sunburned, starving (hotdogs going for like $6.00 a piece), dehydrated (12oz water bottles going for $5.00 a piece), and being treated totally unhumane. (not enough portable toilets and no toilet paper) Finally everybody snapped and started acting out like the animals they were being treated as. I honestly don't blame them. The only thing I don't agree with is all of the rapes that happened as a result. A TON of girls were raped. Not cool at all. The burning and destruction I can fathom and would have participated in myself but not the rape.

Some guy from a small city nearby came up on the night of the 3rd day after the rioting started with a little stand selling hotdogs and hamburgers for very cheap and giving out free water to everybody who came up. They tried to make him leave even though he was outside the gates but he wouldnt fucking budge. That was damn cool of him. He got hooked up with a bunch of free shit from K-Rock and he was probably the only fucking vendor not to get looted and burned to the ground. hah.

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

Jeeze, i was scared shitless when I read over the first line with MTV hosting it this year, scary shit! lol. same as most peeps whove posted in this thread, the commercialism isnt nearly as bad as it could be, hopefully the '06 bonnaroo will be just as fun as 05...
