Girdwood Forrest Fair

I suppose this would have been a better idea to do BEFORE the fair, but I'm just curious if anyone up here in Alaska was there, or is planning to go sometime in the future, because it was one crazy 4 day trip/party and it'd be cool to find out if I saw anyone from here there.

To be honest I've read your post like 5 times and still have no idea what you said, but yes, Alaskan parties are fun.

hitched a ride to girdwood on the 3rd after work...couldnt leave any earlier. got there round 6:30 when the last band was just done playing, so my bulgarian coworker and i got some heineken from safeway and followed some colorfully dressed people to a folk music gathering at the upper parking lot by the ski lifts. they were cool as fuck and damn talented! drank and toked and listened to the fair's musicians jam out with one another. spread some pyschedelic love as best i could. then got lucky and hitched a fast ride back in a pickup bed to make it to work at 9 am on the 4th. all in all, it was a helluva after-party for a poor bastard who missed the party.

i am south of girdwood on the peninsula. pm me waaay ahead of time if you venture south. peace.
