System of a down
    #4382105 -

Just listened to some of their stuff I got on my comp.. It's been a while but their music always grows on me.. I like the songs: X, Forest, Snowblind, Spiders, Toxicity... a few others..

Can anyone tell me if the new album is worth buying? Or(GASP) does anyone have the album on MP3 they can send me? :pirate:

I like the album. It isn't as good as their first two. But it is a hell of alot better than their last one. I would say to borrow before you buy. Just so you aren't dissapointed.

I tend to agree with flowstone, I loved the new album at first, but it wore out a bit. I still think it's very good, worth buying if you're a fan.

I also saw them live at the Hurricane festival in Germany recently, and while they sounded great, their live show disappointed me a bit. Daron just stands there and sings & plays now and he looks so serious, not running around crazy like he used to do. I have to say it seems like he's taking over the band, and I resent that a little.

The new album kicks ass, though in some ways it sounds a bit more "mainstream" than their other stuff.
