this is one of the hardest things iv had to do in my life, i had to put my 14 yr old cocker spaniel down today. to old, arthritis, just straight up OLD. so i went out and picked up a 24 pack and im half way done (at 10:35 in the morning:smirk:) sucks but it had to be done.

yea i knew his time was gon be short (even though i waited days to "kill him") so i had to get a new one lol

pluto - sry mang my sister had to put her cat down about 2 months ago. animals cause depression after they go, it sucks

omg i know. i got a german shepard (500 bucks!!!) pure bread, hes a great dog, looks great to (long haired) but when it comes to training hes a stubborn bitch. i got him signed up for classes for next month so that should help

It's always painful to put down a pet.

they become part of the family...and I trust dogs more than I trust other humans.

I had to put my 16 year old dog down...about 6 years ago.
It was a very painful thing to do...but I didn't want her to suffer anymore.
She was the best damn dog I have ever had.

I got a new dog several years ago.
I waited awhile to get a new one...wanted to enjoy being petless for a little while.
Nothing like getting a new pup...they show you what unconditional love is.

RK- 16 wow. she made it a long time. my dog probly coulda made it that long but he was pretty damn ready to go it seemed. couldnt get up in the morning, doesnt play anymore, cant see or hear.

Man that sucks dick. I don't even want to think about putting my dog down when the time comes, she's such a great friend. Haha I wonder why dogs get so excited when you come through the door.
It's nice to know someone will be happy when I come home. I have a white female boxer, the best breed of dogs in the world :smirk:

Tasha my dog...was in great health.

her hind end went out on her...or I think she would have lived alot longer.

she was dragging her ass all over the place...and she was having accidents in the house...she couldn't control her body functions.

I just had to put her down.  :frown:

I cried like a baby when I put her down.

I had her cremated...and she is sitting on an antique table with a dog bone on top of the wooden box. :smile:

Sorry to hear about your pup, man. :sad:I love dogs. I had a black lab for 15 years and had to put it to sleep on my damned birthday! How messed up is that? I got her for my 9th birthday and she died on my 24th. RIP Sally dog :heart:

yea, i love it when u they see u and get all jumpy and ready to play.

RK - yea my dog got arthritis, he was always limpin to, cause he got this fatty tumor under his left leg. couldnt get it removed without killing him. i was about to have him cremated but id rather not hang on to his ashes

blissedout - damn dude, on ur b-day... i couldnt do that. that must of been one hell of a birthday present:(

the only thing i could think of to ease the pain was grab my bottle. i just grabbed my tequila and chugged til i puked. didnt help of course, just made the pain worse (emotionally and physicaly)
