Yes in fact they are, Iceland is a geothermal playground. Our entire country minus a few is run on geothermal energy, our hot water, much of our electricity comes from this abundant resource.

There are more hotpools in Iceland than anyone could ever hope for, there is nothing like sitting in a hot pool in the interior at 4 am in dailight with 100's of other drunks singing cheesy old Icelandic folk music

Hehe, well the women alone should be enough to stay but I grew up in Calgary and 90% of my friends are here. So I'm torn but I love being in Canada too.

Mind you to give you an idea of why I'm in Calgary:

Cost of living:
                    Iceland            Calgary
Case of Beer        $45                $15
Bottle of whiskey    $60                $25
27" TV              $1500              $500
2005 Jeep Grand Cherooke $100,000        $45,000

Mind you the wages are higher in Iceland, I think minnimum wage in Canada is $6.00 and in Iceland its about $9-10 per hour which very few make as good jobs are abundant there.

But they also pay VERY high taxes in Iceland, it would be normal to lose 40%-50% of your wages to taxes.

But then again, university is free
