Bubblers

I was just browsing sites lately looking for a new bowl to enjoy the Earth's greatest herb with and I came across pieces called bubblers.  The site didn't explain what they were or how they worked.  Do they get the name bubbler from the use of water or what?  Thanks for any information guys. :smile:

Imagine a handheld bong. Like a regular bowl, but underneath the bowl is a chamber you fill with water and it works just like a bong. They fucking rock.

YEah, I usually get way less throat pains off a bubbler than any other type of smoking device save for vaporizers.

Its just a handheld bong. Extending from the bowl down inside the pipe is a tube. You put water into the pipe. There nice as hell and hit perfectly, great for traveling if you like to smoke out of a bong. The biggest problem with them is dumping the water out of the pipe, or when your trying to clean out the bowl, people sometimes forget that there's water in it and turn it upside making the water to go up the tube and wetting the bowl. Or just plain tipping it to much it comes out the mouthpiece. Many of occasions get high as hell and accidentally tip it to much and get a nice little surprise of bong water. lol.

On the bulb part the have a inside female piece that goes down into the water containing part and when u smoke it the smoke bubbles thru the water first.

All bubblers have carbs on them. Some of them have removable bowl pieces tho and those are called kettle bubblers.

i got a bubbler about 3 months ago
its the nicest peice i have ever ownde
its small enough to take with you
but it hits like a champ
better than most bongs i have smoked
