i just picked up my brand new 1911a1, i hate that 10 day waiting period for it. all i need now is a shooting range to go to thats not all drunken rednecks there.

That's a nice little pistol. I'm not a gun nut, but my brother and law has a ton of guns, and I have taken that pistol out shooting before.

Well most often they are public shooting ranges that the cops frequent.
Plus the cops know lots of things about gun use, safety, and maintenance. All of which are very important.

lol i know i know its good for the people that want to just go out and buy a gun and kill someone, but for the people that can pass the pistol test (mandatory in CA) they should be able to AT MOST wait 3 days. o well nothin i can do about it though so, yea

the only shooting range in my town is a total redneck spot and when the cops use it its closed, but i have however found a little spot on someones property (i dont know whos but ima find out) where i can shoot. perfect little spot no one around, in a valley, for sure 150 yards away from any building.

I almost bought this sweet ass Ruger-mini-14 for like $500 when I first turned 18. Put the deposit down but just never came back to pick it up. I figured the only thing I would do with it is get in trouble. I wonder if they are still holding it for me...

a mini 14 lol those r fun my dad has one of those. how long ago did u buy it, most gun shops only hold onto the weapon for 30 days until they put it back on the market, and u would have to re-buy it

yeah, it was like over a year ago. I put down a $70 deposit though. I put down for the .223 model, but then I thought that I might want the 7.56 (i think those are the right numbers) so I could hunt deer if I wanted.
 
I would love to have one right now, but I don't have anywhere to shoot it off, no car to drive to a range, and if I did shoot a burglar then my house would become a crime scene and the cops may find certain things growing....
I just don't need it at this time in my life. But you better believe I'm getting a fucking pistol when I turn 21!!

7.62* yea i want to get one of those but then again an m24 would be alot funner for target practise cause she have a low MOA. then again, semi-auto is funner to fuck around with. lol sry just speaking my mind
