Almost ate a scorpion

Well, I found some salad leftover in the bowl on the counter. It has probably been there for about 3 hours, but that's not THAT long. My house is pretty clean.

I'm like 9/10 the way done with the salad, and I look down and BAM! Fucking scorpion on the edge of the bowl. Black, fucking ugly ass scorpion. Which means he had to have been INSIDE the salad and crawled OUT onto the edge of my bowl, meaning I either

a.) lucked out and ate none of him
b.) ate some of him and that's why he appeared dead
c.) ate his friend(s)

I totally freaked my shit, and now I have a bad headache from the sudden jolt of increased heartbeat that came from me being stoned and almost eating a scorpion.

That is pretty wild man. Id be drinking a lot of water just in case.

How are you feeling? If you start to feel like shit I seriously suggest going to the hospital. Scorpions are pretty deadly are they not?

There was a big yellow nasty lookin scorpion in the hang out room at my host mom's house in mexico and I freaked and broomsticked it. I was talking with her in Spanish and she laughed at me, but I could have died, so it was a flight or fight thing. The end.


EDIT: I was freaked because where I am from scorpions don't exist except in people's houses as pets or whatever, they don't run around in salad bowls.

That is some funny shit! We both live in the South and they are pretty commonplace, down here. I used to find them in my shower all of the time. I haven't seen one, in awhile.

We have the little two inchers around SC, I don't think they're particularly dangerous.

I saw an article once about scorpion (the big ones) hunters where they carry a black light cause the scorpions glow in it.
