Here it is:

ROCK PAPER SCISSORS BY MAIL

Ha!

My friend and I are currently playing. It's actually way more intense than traditional RPS.

The rules are simple!

We like to play multiple rounds per mailing, for efficiency and fun. Just make sure each of your entries is clearly labeled with a number so the results can be aligned easily.

Each "move" should not be a simple written word--that's boring. Do an elaborate drawing or something clever. That way you build an emotional attachment to each round and actually root for particular drawings to win.

Then, agree on a postmark date and send! When both letters have arrived, open and compare (at the same time for maximum dramatic intensity!)

Ha, so that's how I spent this afternoon--creating four worthy drawings and sending them into the forbidding postal service to compete with an unseen foe. I've invested way more effort into this than I have in any schoolwork for like the past 10 weeks

Ha, I anticipated some hostility

Hence the qualifier in the title of this thread...sounds stupid BUT...don't knock it 'til you've tried it!

I do have a girlfriend, 'smatter of fact, and she's just as quirky as I am.

IN CONCLUSION
Yeah, it's stupid, but I also got a good laugh out of it! So there's no need to be so derisive

fucking great...there are specific times during the day my girl friend and i play PRS via text message...at noon everyday we send a PRS message to eachother and who ever wins gets to decided what to do that evening...

I've not had the opportunity to try it under the influence of anything, but I bet you could get reeeeaal creative with some of your abilities to represent a rock, paper, or scissors pictorially

YES, I have a life, including many friends and worthwhile hobbies
YES, I realize this is a stupid waste of my time
