as some of you may know, i used to have my own house til i moved back in with my parents. the phone bill and the PG&E are in my name, when i moved out they told me they would pay it. i went over there today and theres 450 dollars worth of bills in my fucking name. i'm pissed. what would you do about it? and they got kicked out so i don't even know if they plan on paying them.

Why did they get kicked out? Are they broke, like to the point that they're bankrupt and were evicted? If that's the case you need to pay for them, I mean they are your bills right? They're not your parents bills, so why would you expect them to pay for them?

Unless they've been the ones using the services, then they should be the ones paying. I'm kinda confused about whats really going on so it's hard to help you. Do you owe them money? Or do they owe the money? Or is it that they told you they were going to pay but they didn't, probably because they don't have the money. If that's the case you need to pay for your own bills don't you think?

You should've switched the utilities over to their name originally. There's always small claims court...

I used to live there, then I moved out, but the bills were left in my name.

Well you kinda made a pretty big mistake then didn't ya?

They should have to pay for them, but I doubt they will. And since they're in your name there isn't much you can do about it.

That happened to me once and I sold dudes electronics while he was away for a weekend.
TV, 3 video game consoles with about 60 games, stereo and speakers.
All sold for the price of his outsanding debt to me.
