Rolf Singer's Hallucinogenic Mushrooms
    #4213440 - 05/24/05 10:42 AM (11 years, 6 months ago)

These 14 pages are also taken frm the Medical book, "Mushroom Poisoning: Diganosis and Treatment" edited by Emanuelle Salzman and Barry Rumack. Cleveland. CRC Press. 1978.

This is a great article on both Psilocybes, Amanitas, and the mushrooms of the Kuma of New Guinea.

Pages 201-214.

HALLUCINOGENIC MUSHROOMS
BY
ROLF SINGER of Museum of Natural History, Chicago.

Well that is all for now folks.

I would beleave that many of the said found species can be found in other locals then otherwise stated. No one looks for them else where so they get over looked.

Many of the species de4scribed above by Singer are form local regions of the globe and some are not everywhere.

Also several have had many name changes and genera changes. The Pholiotina cyanopoda eventually became Conocybe cyanopus. ANd others in his report.

Ott's paper, also in this thread was written at the same time. I added a red dot to the species not active which Ott reposted as active.

But qat the time it was written it was well received and it got rid of some of the many errors Steven Pollck wrote of in his two papers on psilocybe and Panaeolus published int eh journal of Psychedelic Drugs.
