Strain Question
    #4201508 - 05/20/05 11:49 PM (11 years, 6 months ago)

Could you help me possibly identify the strain. Sorry for the shitty pics. Also they might be a bit young to identify

There are hundreds of different strains of cannabis, it would be impossible to tell from those pictures. My best advice would be to wait until it flowers and get some good pictures of the bud, leave notes about what type of smell, (fruity, skunky, etc). You may want to try your luck posting at www.overgrow.com, but I would be suprised if they would be able to give you a proper ID.

Looks like a healthy hybrid to me, was it from bagseed?

Something I noticed was that your soil looks like its mostly peat based, you may want to mix up some extra perlite, vermiculite, and whatever else you prefer that will improve drainage. Peat based soils tend to cause your plants to become waterlogged and the roots in the bottoms will almost never dry out. Feel through the drainage holes before watering if you want the soil to be completely dry. Good luck and enjoy your harvest :stoned:

There is know way to know the strain unless you bought the seed or someone gave it to you. It does look like a nice indica sativa hybrid.

I got seeds from some bud that my friend had. He had taken the seeds and said I could have them. So I decided to give them a try.

Probably a sativa/indica hybrid, ( judging from the shapes of the leaf blades), and they are very common in "commercial grass"... Impossible to tell, though, from a pic if it's something bred like Blueberry, Bubblegum, Skunk, Northern Lights #1 or #2, etc., etc. If it came from a bag of good weed, then if you take care of the plants properly, they'll probably turn out a little more potent than the plant that the seeds came from, assuming you properly dry and/or cure it. Also seed from very potent grass can vary in traits of shape, size and potency from the same plant. You just gotta be lucky and hope you got some of the good seeds and not inferior genetically retarded seeds, lol. And as you may know, 30-50% on average of any given seed will be male. Just my 2 cents.
