Ok, I'm sure some of you have heard of this, but I made this thread anyway because it's such a great thing. It's called lecithin, and it's just a supplement you can buy at wal*mart or any vitamin store.
I've told my friends about it, and about 70% agree that it really works, and others it doesn't really do a lot, so just give it a try and tell me if it works.

Mainly, you have to take a bunch (~5000mg) about 2 hours before you smoke. When you smoke, you should be way more stoned than normal, and it also has a different feel to it. I've used it during college (I'm not smoking due to a job) about once a week. I would just eat those, and smoke, and it would really work for me. I would be so incredibly stoned  :grin:

Taking 5g is ok too, I read this medical journal article that shows it's safe to take up to 50g or something.  It's mainly just a vitamin found in eggs (I think it's just more purified or something). The only side effect if you take it a lot is your skin might smell like fish, but I haven't encountered this.

Also, if you take about 1200mg a day, it should clear up the mind cloudiness that weed causes. A lot of people who smoke every day said it makes them feel just like they did when they weren't smoking.

I smoke to get uber-blitzed, and not just high. That's why I like this :smile:

Just make sure you take enough (like 4 1200mg pills, or 12 400mg pills).  :smile:

One of the side effects of marijuana is an increased metabolism of water in the body. Now this probably isn't significant with mid-grade weeds, but with some of the high grade strains around today, it can dehydrate the muscles. If you are prone to back problems, this can cause the muscles to go into a state of spasm, and that is very painful. To prevent that from happening, it is important to drink water before you get high, and also while you are doing it. I suggest Reverse Osmosis water, since that is about the purest quality water available.

Drugs and Entheogens are also known for metabolizing essental vitamins & nutrients, especially B Vitamins, so when you get the munchies it is a good idea to replenish your supply by eating something like blueberries.

Hmm...I'm going to give this a try tonight.  (have some DANK bud coming my way and it's been a few days since I've toked :smile: ) Should be a fun time if this stuff does what you say it does.  :grin:

Be sure to tell us how much the shit costs and what brand you got!  I was gonna go get some myself but I have to work tonight and don't want to get superbaked on a busy friday.  I'll just settle for normal-baked tonight, then listen to elles advice.

I just went out and bought some...I got a big bottle of Lecithin pills at Walmart for under $8. 

Okay, on the bottle it says that it is 400mg concentrate and provides the same phosphatidylcholine as 1200mg Lecithin...

So would I still take 5000mg to get effect for the weed, or a lower amount?

Basically, I just don't want to accidentally poison myself...

any advice from the original poster is appreciated.  :smile:

eating 5 grams of the concentrate would be like eating 15 grams of
lecithin, so you're cool taking 5g if you want to.

be careful guys. Just because he said 50g was the limit doesn't mean he is right or that the place he got those facts from are right. I doubt Limelight is an expert on the stuff. You may want to look in to it a bit more before you endulge on it

Lecithan is not gonna hurt you in any way. And nobody said take 50 g of the stuff, its hard enough scarfing down the twelve pills to equal 5 g. It was just stated that 50 g was safe enough, not that anyone would even be able to get close enough to that number. You cannot accidentally poison yourself with only one bottle of lecithan.

Be advised though, its not a magic pill you take and instantly get more stoned. Just like any supplement it has to be in your body to affect you, and it takes time as well for it to get all into your body. In fact, it took about three or more days for me to start to notice the additional stonieness.

If you bought your lecithan at wal-mart, the dose is twelve 400mg pills a day. I took that for well over two or three weeks. Ran out of lecithan many times, and that is what eventually got me to stop taking it, you gotta buy more! When your sucking down twelve pills a day, a bottle only lasts about eight or nine days.

The greatest thing I ever noticed was that I got stoned for longer. I mean I also got much more stoned off much less weed, but it was mostly noticeable when two hours after I smoked, I am still a red eye jedi.

I just took some.  Who knows if it will work tonight or not...if not no biggie, I'll just keep it up for the next few days.

Hey. I'm glad to see people are trying it, and that mecreateme at a positive experience with it. The walmart brand is prety small doses, you have to eat a lot of them. But at regular vitamin stores (or online) you can get them in 1200mg doses, that way you only have to eat 4.

And btw, I heard the 50g limit (I believe it was exactly 53) from a medical dictionary which has all the maximum doses for many different substances. It was also written in another journal that I don't have the link to. It won't hurt you though, like I said however, you may smell like fish if you take tons.
