I found this one which sells them for 35 dollars plus 7.95 shipping. Its a case of 500 so its around 8.56 cents per dish. Pretty good no?

anyone have any better. Ebay was to inconsistent for me.

That's where I buy mine. They also have them divided into two, three or four sections.

two isolations on one dish. You dont really need that much agar for an isolation until you get it down to the final stran. this just speeds things up.

Exactly. For doing strain isolation, I like the four section dishes. It really saves money on petri dishes and agar, not to mention time.
