use diazonon or any other utdoor garden pesticide. Most brake down in a few days and will be safe for consumption

I would never put diazanon on my mushies, that shit is crazy bad for you.  Go with some diatomaceous earth, shit works wonders...  GL bro :stoned:

This site said:
Diatomaceous (die-uh-toe-may-shus) Earth, isn't dirt or earth, not even colored like it. It consists of the broken up shells of tiny critters, called diatoms, that lived long ago and died in groups so massive that they can, today, be mined and bull-dozed.

"DE", as diatomaceous earth is abbreviated, has the neat quality of killing insects (insectaside, as some say) It's perfect for natural insect control. (Unfortunately, it kills good ones, like bees and ladybugs, too, so its use shouldn't be indiscriminate.) It is 100% ecologically safe to the environment and non-poisonous to man and beast. In fact, if you've eaten anything made with flour (like Bisquick), you've eaten DE. It's used in commercial grain storage as a means of natural, poison-free, insect control. So, how does it control insects, or kill insects, and what's it doing on this website?

Fresh Water Diatomaceous Earth works by slicing open the exoskeleton (outer, hard covering) of insects, causing them to "bleed" to death. (Actually, their insides leak out, they dehydrate and die.) Imagine walking barefoot through a room that has millions of razorblades embedded in the floor. You've got the picture.

When D.E. is sprinkled on the ground, on an ant mound, or mixed with grains, legumes, etc., it slices and dices the insects that walk through it. If you're planning to can or bucketize your own food, mixing in a cup of Fresh Water Diatomaceous Earth will help keep it pest-free. And it won't hurt YOU when you ingest it, 'cause the 'sharp pieces' are too small to cut you, you lucky guy. (In fact, many farmers deliberately mix DE with animal feed to kill internal parasites in farm animals. The D.E. in the animal feces even kills the fly maggots that invariably appear in the patties.) Powder the landing places that flies use for fly control.

You do need to be cautious with your use of DE. Inhaling it can cause lung problems. (It's a fine dust.) It's OK to eat, but don't breathe it. Use a mask when applying DE.

You can order it from them too, or just go down to your local gardening center and they should have it... GL bro :stoned:

Lowes has DE. Another tip for ants is to put a bit of borax into a jar lid of honey or karo. The ants suck up the karo with the borax in it, then take it back to the nest to mix into the feed. Within two weeks, the entire colony including the queens is wiped out.

My ex-mother in law never had cockroachs in her house, even though all the neighbors did, and she never had the place sprayed. Her trick was to buy cucumbers, slice them up and lay the slices around the house in areas where roaches would hang out, such as under the sink, stove, refrigerator, bathroom, etc. She swore it worked, and the proof was in the pudding. I'm glad cockroaches don't live in my climate. They're nasty.

You mean cucumbers with borax? Or the cockroaches were so elated with the cucumbers that they left, or are cucumbers bad for cockroaches? Wondering cause it sounds interesting....

Cockroaches
The best way to keep roaches and other insects out is to make your home as undesirable to them as possible. No access to food! Water is also a necessity for roaches, so even a few drops in your kitchen sink is an attraction. Now you can try placing bay leaves, cucumbers, garlic, or catnip around your home to repel them. But unfortunately I have got to tell you, NYC roaches seem to be in a class of their own and are immune to just about everything.

You can also trap and release roaches humanely by taping newspaper to the outside of a glass jar, smearing Vaseline along the inside of the jar’s lip, and placing food inside. Roaches who climb into the jar are unable to climb back out over the Vaseline. Simply release them outsid
going to buy cucumbers. ill let yall know
