This Discovery channel show kicks ass
    #4120812 - 05/01/05 10:25 PM (12 years, 28 days ago)

Has anybody seen "The Future is Wild" on the discovery channel? I remember watching it stoned out of my mind when it aired a couple years ago. I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. It shows how the world will look millions of years in the future if people disappeared. Its all CGI and has giant jellyfish sailboats, squids that can walk on land, and giant spiders that are really intelligent. I recently just saw the DVDs on ebay and bought them. I can't wait to get hella stoned and watch them. It's definitely worth checking out.

I saw parts of it, but was skeptical. Glad you got something out of it though.

Never seen that one, but I know what you mean. Those types of shows are awesome when you're baked.

I might check that one out

Discovery Channel makes some awesome shows. I loved the documentary sort of thing they did on the evolution of the homosapien. It was badass.

Discovery channel sucks. Too much pseudoscience and other crap. National Geographic channel or BBC Learning Programmes are far better.

Yeah i wish i had national geographic. My cable company doesnt carry it. Those types of shows are the only ones i really enjoy. The evolution one was cool too. i kinda find evolution of man disturbing though. its weird watching monkeys act like people

I don't have Discovery Channel, but watching Nova tripping is quite a mindfuck. A week or so ago I took a rather good dose of syrian rue and was experiencing nausea so I just laid down and watched TV, and sure enough a trippy Nova show came on. It's a lot funner to watch when you're hallucinating, I'll give it that.

Theyre doing a new series on a fictionalized alien planet that Humans discover and start observing it like naturalists. Looks great, its based on a book, I believe. Al cg . Should be a treat . COming in March to discovery.
