Just curious as to you guys take on the multi- ethnical unconventional rock band TV On The Radio. Hardly anyone seems to have heard of them but I recon they one of the greatest projects of this new century so far. TV on the Radio homepage check out the website if you aint heard of them, because they're worth a listen.

When I first heard TV on the Radio, I thought something you don't think very often: "Wow. I have never heard anything like this before." So fucking original. So refreshing to see a (and I don't want this to be construed as racist or anything, come on now) rock band full of black guys. I'm just saying, cause I see like 15 shows a month on average and in America compared with Britain there are not many black rock bands. TVOTR has a white member but it's the singer's soulful black voice that hits me hard.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Mildly interesting band, which I guess in a pop sense, sort of new sounding.
