Too hot for incubation?

I'm incubating my jars on the back of my servers monitor at the moment, in a rubbermaid with an inch of hydrogen peroxide/water mix for the jars to sit in (to help evenly distribute heat from monitor). The temperature in the container has reached 88F and I was wondering if this would adversely affect incubation in any way?
I know that the substrate should be ~85F but I can't acheive it.

Well, ideally it really ought to be at 85?. Incubating at either higher or lower temperatures will noticably increase the time it takes for the mycelium to colonize the jar.
The one problem you might want to consider is heat build-up in the monitor. While your substrate might only be reaching 88?, the temperatures inside your monitor are going to be much higher with an object sitting on top of it blocking air flow. This can't be good for your equipment.
As for your substrate, if the temperature really is a steady 88?, things will progress a little more slowly than optimum... but it will continue to grow. Just be darn sure it doesn't get much higher than that.
