I love being alone. I am my most creative, most thoughtful, most motivated, etc. I can't complete classwork nearly as well as I can homework, for example.

Since I dropped my druggie friends (not just users, thieves, liars, scum etc) I've had a lot of alone time. It's not so bad. I'm looking at a 3.5 GPA after this semester, and my room is fuckin spotless :wink:

Lone drives up the interstate are always nice, blasting music, sunroof open, breeze whipping around. Good times.

Although, I'd rather be by myself on an empty beach with a half ounce of mush, food/water for three days (trip first day and last day), a fishing pole, and a CD player.

I'd do that ^^^ over ANYTHING on earth except for accepting large sums of money.

I abhor them.


I also hate the lack of respect people have with them, or the people that have them glued to their shoulders. But that's a whole other can of worms.

If your into music just put on some headphones and have a lie down... you probably won't be interupted as much, and let the music take your mind off things.

As much as id love to disconnect my phone at times, i would never do it. Way too convenient to get ahold of people when the need arises. But i wont say i dont fantasize about it here and there :p

Its too easy to get ahold of people (in direct contradiction to what i said above) and that really drives me crazy sometimes. Friends who want to hang when im just not feeling it call and call and call, and i feel like an ass, but at the same time i just dont have the energy to deal with telling them that....half personal problem, half hating of my phone :P

but by far nothing beats locking myself away in my room and playing some guitar to let out all the shit on my mind....its a drug i tell ya :P

Gillette, if you want something to do where you can be alone for hours on end, I suggest you take up mushroom hunting! I did so last season and I found it to be a GREAT way to just get away from everone/society for a few hours. I doubt you'll find many, if any, psychoactive species around here...but that's not so much the point here.

Hell yeah, It's weird, a lot of the time when I'm alone I wish there were people there, but when I'm with a shitload of people I wish I was alone..... I love being alone a lot of the time though, there are times when I wish I could just split for a while and spend some time by myself in the woods.
