alone
    #4022197 -

do you ever get that urge to just be totally alone? Like there are days that I lock myself in the bathroom to just get away from people. I live with my parents still and its driving me nuts, I'm sick of always having people around, my siblings, my parents, their friends are always in the house, my house is never quiet, even if I close my door, people still walk right in. sometimes I leave and I drive around for hours looking for somewhere to go, but there really isn't anywhere to go. There are people, everywhere.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. ~ Albert Einstein

Yeah,
only not now, 'cause I live by myself. But I'm seriously dreading going back to my parents place for the summer. Gah.

Yeah, all the time. In fact I get the urge to be alone far more often than I get the urge to be around other people.

Hey Leary, I got the Beatles Anthology II today, it's awesome. All the different versions of songs are great.

Anthology I will hopefully be here tomorrow or friday.

I generally find that when I'm around a lot of people for extended periods of time my morale goes way down and I start getting aggitated at the littlest thing. I'm feeling the same way you do right now, only I have 5 roomates who constantly bring the most annoying people ever over to the house. I really miss my studio aprtment... well most of the time.

I never got into the Anthology series. I'm too afraid of getting sick of the songs if I hear them too many times.

I feel so bad tho, like its not like I hate people or anything, I just don't want them talking to me, well irl at least. I'd love to just pack a bag and get out of here, but when I think about it, I see all the weekly obligations, the days of work ahead, and the various social engagements I've commited myself to, and think, well if I were to leave I'd have to stop everything.....

We all feel like that sometimes, I'm sure. I tend to be downright reclusive sometimes...

Just because you like being alone doesn't mean you don't like people. I love all people equally, but I don't want to hang out with people all the time.

what you need to do is find a local park.  Get there before the worlds awake.  say, 5:00.  Eat 1g of mushrooms.  Just jump on a bike or walk around and be.  You can even do this without the mushrooms.  I find nature is a great place to be when im feeling like you are now.  Good Luck

Well, it gets even harder when you live with your g/f, b/f, etc.

Just two weeks ago my g/f came to my home (she lives 2000KM away) and stayed here 2 weeks and sometimes I felt very mad. I am a very independent man and I need several hours a day alone to feel good. Finally I explained this to her and we accorded that I would just took a daily walk Thru a park nearby, and I felt a lot better.

Sometimes we as human beings just need time to get our thoughts together or even just chill from daily pressures.

A nice walk does it for me, but you might find better to go explore your city, go to an amusement park by yourself, etc. If you really can't stand people maybe you can drive to some place nearby with nature, or at least silent? Sometimes the most silent places are where you would never expect it.

Anyway, I'll stop my rambling now, sorry

I have many days where i just turn off my phone, lock my door, and relax. People are great, but im a guy who needs alot of alone time too.

Your car dilemna amuses me, because i do the same. I'll jump in my car and drive up the 5 freeway for a while, then turn aroudn and come home.

Lifes a trip
