what would be the best way to keep my feild of poppy seeds moist? i heard using a hand sprayer is good and doesn't damage the seedlings but i have too many to do that
how about a watering can would that work? or would it damage the seedlings?

poppy seedlings in soil can be watered regularly, but gently. They tend to come up afterwards like most other seedlings. Please read "Poppies - From Poppyseed to Cooked Opium"

A good technique I use is this!
Make sure your hose has a nozzle, like the kind you wash cars with
Adjust it so a fine mist comes out and prop it up with something. Lawn chairs, and wheel barrels work good for holding the hose. The mist will moisten the seedlings gently and you don't have to supervise. Turn on the hose go inside for a minute and go back out to change location of the hose. I do this with all my seedlings.
