Casing.. 100% cow poo??

I want to do some casing just wondering is iy ok to use 100% cow poo? I figure it would be since thats what shrooms mostly grow in. Or should i mix up a combo of 50% verm and 50% cow poo?

Wrong term, casing is the soil like material we lay on top of the substrate. Straight cow poo will work for a bulk substrate, but it's suggested you add some chopped straw or verm because the texture isn't so hot.
