Jungle/drum 'n bass - whatever you want to call it, it is taking over. Breakbeat connoisseurs on alert: The sounds are heavy right now and the air is thick with it, so check your levels because your speakers might blow out...mine did.

More chance of my house being shaken to the ground, thank fuck. Any recommendations for some evil, brooding tracks?

hmm, evil..brooding.... I've been listening to a lot of Hive lately...Surreal Killer is my current fav. dunno if that's really evil enough. oh yeah, I almost forgot Panacea & Cativo. that record they put out a while ago, The Hardest Tour on Planet Earth is fuckin great, listen to that if you want your house to crumble. Panacea's "Price of Darkness '98" is a good one from that.

your speakers propably blew out because of the undertones of Drum-n-bass... I duno what kind of speakers you had but good DNB can reach down around 5hz to give a rumbleing roll quality to the music. Also doing this the Ohms transfer lower to compensate for the energy needed to supply that kind of bass.. If your amp cant handle that it will "clip" the sound wave and kill your speakers. If your speakers cant handle bass that low and you have the settings up to high this will wear them out too.. GabbaDj
Ok... Just to set the record straight.... I thought the cop was a prostitute.

I may be wrong but I highly doubt that d&b could reach 5 hz. Dillinja has a song called 30 hz and its so fuckin low its unbelievable.

the human ear hears down to 20hz.. Bass you feel is actualy made up mostly of tones lower than 20hz. Most bass in dance music hits below 20hz to give that speaker thump, but DNB is the hardest on your speakers because alot of that bass is drawn out. Like fireing an AK, say youve got LOTS of amo.. Hold down the trigger and you will melt the barrel. Shoot in 3 second spurts you will heat it but shoot less the less heat built up... GabbaDj Ok... Just to set the record straight....
