The Pope once got high

Well,

I could not find the story I wanted to post about how the pope got lost in Austria on a mountain hike and came to a cabin in the mountains and was fed a meal of mushrooms. The Ap story did not say what kind of mushrooms the pope had eaten.

So I dug up this image form the Kava book by Vince LeBot and Mark Merlin.

Here is the Pope on Fiji drinking kava.

I find it funny. They say he did so because it was a traditional offering and he did not want to show disrespect for the Fijian peoples.

Now I wonder if the Pope went to Kashmir, would he smoke some hash because everyone else did. If it was traditional I supose he would have.

here is the image from the book. I use to actually have a copy of the photo and some asshole in Hawaii visitng my home ripped it off and also a lot of negatives and photos.

I never said he ate psychedelic mushrooms. I said he was fed a meal of mushrooms but the newpaper did not say what kind of mushrooms.

The hash bit was a joke.

That kava dose probably blithered him. The Kava in Fiji is the strongest of the Piper family. And he looks to be downing the whole bowl because it is tilted pretty high. So yes, I believe he got high on the Kava.

I doubt that George bush would have excepted a drink of Kava if he ever went to Fiji, but those are poor people. Why would he want to go there?
