You'll be lucky to get anything off a piece of mycellium that small. Have some patience and do it right or it will end up taking you longer.

A shot glass takes about 2 weeks - ive done it a couple of times, i cased it and got two flushes of four/five shitty shroomies...

I INNOCULATED 10 JARS 20 DAYS AGO IN 1/4 PINT SIZED JARS BECAUSE I COULDN'T FIND 1/2 PINT. AFTER 20 DAYS THEY RANGE BETWEEN 60% -90%. SO SMALLER WAS NOT FASTER, AND FROM WHAT EVERYONE IS TELLIN ME I WILL HARDLY GET ANY SHROOMS OFF THE CAKES SO I'VE DECIDED TO CASE ( STRAIGHT VERM.) AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

Sorry, i didnt realise you were an expert... They took two weeks from innoculation to invitro pinning - sure ive often got 250ml jars to be 100% in 14 days, but the point is that a shotglass does not hold moisture as well, even if you cover the top with clingwrap, thus will take longer as it quickly dries out. It is pointless anyway, because you wont get enough shrooms to even get to level 2...

Take a spore print and innoculate like a lot of honey jars/glasses and then strain the mycelium and eat that. It will take like 4 days max and you trip like a mug. Just don't eat n e jars that have that great sweaty gym sock smell. peace
