Besides the fact that Apollo 16 landed on the Moon on this day in 1972, that it is the birthday of Adolf Hitler, and the day when comedian Benny Hill died 13 years ago, this day has no significance to me whatsoever.

its also the day of the columbine shooting. I was a senior in high school when it happened. We were talking about it in class when some girl said "do you think they did it because they were stoned, cause it was on that 420 thing"

eh, they don't really celebrate 4/20 in europe (it'd have to be the 4th day of the 20th month, which makes no sense) so probably nothing special.

I won't be getting stoned because of probation. It's a couple days before my birthday but it's also dead week, so part of me wants to celebrate by doing something, but the more rational side of me says I should study for finals... decisions decisions.

i'll tell ya what my blood-shot eyes see, though:
it might just be another day- but it's another day which is an excuse to go have a good time with a bunch of people who share your interest in this fine plant and the ritualistic sub-culture surrounding it.

I got summoned to jury duty for that day. It seems like they are hitting me up every year now at around the same time. Both last year and this year I was facing criminal charges in court so was immediately excused once disclosing that bit of information.
