syringe contaminated?

Okay, I sterilized my jars and let them sit for a few days to make sure that there was no contamination. There wasn't anything growing at all, so I inoculated them. Then, 4 days later I notice a couple of jars being proliferated with blue-green mold (aspergillus/penicillium). The contamination was mainly isolated to the inoculation sites. What do you think might have happened? Could the syringe/needle have been contaminated, or was it probably something else?

I'm no expert but assuming you bought the spores from a shroomery sponsor it is unlikely the syringe was contaminated.

How did you go about inoculation?
no air current in the room...flame needle..whipe with alcohol..ect??

What type of spawn? pressure cooked?
