Anybody had a run-in with a celebrity?

Does anybody remember Tiny Tim? He was the guy who played the ukelele and sang. His biggest hit was "Tiptoe through the Toulips".
One of my relatives works at the local jail in my small town. Three people were brought in by the cops. One of them looked exactly like Tiny Tim (Tiny Tim had died about a year before). It turns out the dude was Tiny Tim's twin brother (I'll call him TTTB). TTTB and these two other people were running around and stealing merchandise from Wal-Marts all over the state. They were doing this to support their heroin habit. Yep that's right....TTTB had a thirty stampbag a day habit. The whole time TTTB was housed in the local jail he was saying shit like, "I'm Tiny Tim's brother. Can I get some special treatment...blah blah blah". Weird story.
One time my dad was in London's Heathrow airport. He saw Muhammed Ali walk by. My dad looked over at him and Ali nodded.
I went to the filming of "Sudden Death" starring Jean Claude Van Damme for one day. It was pretty cool.

Yeah David Gahan (depeche mode) came into the supermarket I worked at. I was talking to him about his groceries but I didn't let him know I recognized him. We get fired for that because the supermarket was in the hamptons which is where rich people have summer homes. so they come in a lot.

I was at an Arcade Fire concert at the Bowery Ballroom and saw David Byrne leaning against a wall having a beer, so I walked over to him, put my hand on his arm, looked him deep in the eyes and said, "You're awesome." He said thanks, and I walked away.

i have had sex with a double world record holder (not a world record holder for sex unfortunately!!), multiple commonwealth gold medalist and multiple olympic medalist. not sure if that counts as a "run-in" since it was fun and the term "run-in" generally implies something a little less positive!

I got in a fistfight with John McEnroe once.

i was making fun of Kip Winger the other day to his face, more in jest though. He is a friend of a friend, so we all made jokes about his band Winger over some beers.

My mom used to sew curtains, window treatments, slipcovers, that kinda shit for wives of Detroit Lions football players. I met a few of them but don't remember since it was a while ago.

I wish I could meet that guy in your avatar. His commercials rock.

I haven't had any direct encouters with celebrities, but I used to play Quake on the internet with Layne Staley's dealer. Another guy I played Quake with worked at the Flaming Lips' management company and knew the band.

Who doesn't get all wet in the pants when seeing Jean Claude Van Dam?

I grew up down the street from robert zemeckis' parents. His mom, Rose, would hand out candy to us neighbor kids every saturday like it was halloween. Really cool people. I wound up going to a private post-premiere party (tagging along with my parents) for "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and I remember Zemeckis presenting his folks a pair of custom WFRR leather jackets. He also used to come by now and then and hang out at the beach area in front of my house. Hell I'm probably in some of his home movies in the background as some little blond haired kid raising hell or fishing or something.
Oh and I saw sharon stone at the scottsdale fashion square mall once.

I've met the guys who played the Hanson brothers on Slap Shot, really nice people.
Other then that, I don't think I've head too many run-ins with famous people, besides sports stars and 'local' celebrities. Some of my friends have smoked up with a couple members of Sweatshop Union after a show, though (they pulled two of them up on stage, too)
