Where can i find Glass Petri dishes?..anyone?

I want to go back to the old school of doing things with the agar plates.. but the plastic dishes are bogus and you can only use them once that i know of.. Does anbody have a link where i can purchase glass ones so i can P.C. them?

you can only use them once, but theyre like, 20x cheaper than glass... tradeoffs. plus, theyre already sterile in the sleeves, so you dont have to sterilize them before you use them (like you would for glass).

Ebay is ALWAYS a great place to start looking, plus there was a post here a few days ago by a cat named jahson selling glass petris... gluck :) and congrats d for adding a new product the the site :)

Or myco-supply has some auto-clavable petris available for pretty cheap. Their not glass but I think polypropelene or polysterine. They have both, cant remember which is autcalavable though.

Hmm, 2.95 is quite expensive.
I can buy a 100x15 mm glas dish in a shop for 1.35$.
But this is in Austria. And the shipping of 10 dishes to the USA would cost 15$.
So here is where the cost benefit vanishes...

i wish they had shops like that in cali, anno :)

just to gloat- purchased about 400 sterile disposable petris on ebay for about 25$ including shipping... thats a lot ofchances to f*ck up im thinking.
