I dont understand what the problem is ? If Boxtop's accusations are false, then at least come say something.

As long as Roadkill doesn't say anything.....it looks like boxtop is tellin the truth.

No it doesn't. It just proves that Roadkill couldn't be bothered by this. He has explained himself to the moderators and administrators. He feels he is right, and doesn't feel the need to explain himself to everyone here.

Both parties want this drama to fade away, that doesn't tell you anything? Let the drama die already.

I'm not assuming that it's true or else I would have already given Roadkill bad ratings for it. Supposedly, Roadkill will come here and tell his side of the story.

I just think Boxtop has always been a great asset to this community and has always been a honest guy. It doesn't sound right that Roadkill would do this, but it doesn't sound right that Boxtop would just make this up for the fun of it either.

Whether box's story is true or false, I know a lot of people will now have a bad impression of roadkill and if i was him id at least say something to not let this happen.

Also - Why hasn't ripple locked this thread ?

I'll end this by saying that I hope Roadkill can call me so we can talk.......I don't want the money back, he has a kid to raise and if he could afford to pay me, I'm sure he would have already.

He's chosen to diss me for whatever reason, but I hope he can at least pick up the phone so we can at least talk about things.....that's not too much to ask I think.


I'm glad everyone was entertained over the last day or so but I'm ending this drama now.

I originally asked for advice and I received alot of it...thanks everyone.

I appreciate everyone who stood up for me and I appreciate everyone who stood up for RK too.

I never should have let it get this public and I'd appreciate help from you guys in letting this thing go away.

If you like RK in the past, keep liking him...same with me, I don't want anyone to change their opinion because of me.

I'm ending this now.

Roadkill, please call me so we can at least open up a dialog of communication.

dont rely on appearances, I've been in very similar situations as the both of
them, maybe you people dont understand that by putting someone on the spot like
this it's humiliating and they are less likely to do anything positive regarding
the situation, what incentive has this thread given from it's inception for RK
to come in and offer an explanation, what about the 30 other threads...

Why hasn't RK told his side publicly? Because there is a mob of people who have stated their intent to tear down his door... before they even heard his side.

Box wants an apology.

Can't everyone see this is a VERY PERSONAL ISSUE... that has obviously pissed Boxtop off on several occasions? It is none of our business. I wonder if Box sent any recent PM's to RK before this public flogging.

Roadkill is still a Mod. Stories are being checked and confirmed. Roadkill is being wisely silent, while Boxtop has spent a day defaming him... with a blind lynch mob.

Sometimes in life, the one who smelt it dealt it.

Roadkill can say or not say whatever he wants... but let's look at this objectively. Roadkill; a veteran member and vendor with a spotless record, vs. Boxtop; a top-notch ex-vendor who likes drama and cries (among other things) often enough for The Shroomery to recently tell him to go spend his advertising money elsewhere.

Box is a good guy and a very good vendor but he has a history of crying "Wolf" or at least "Foul" in the Public and especially in the Vendor Forum.

Like FungusHungry, Boxtop has been defrocked for reasons that the public didn't necessarily see.

Why am I bringing this up? Why? Does Box really deserve it? No. Is it anybody's business? No.

But look Box, you just spent a DAY doing this to a Shroomery Mod, who has places where he can present his case, without the Mob mentality you have tried to subject him to.

RK's story, seems to be close to yours, close enough to ring of truth. Close enough to be easily confirmed or denied.

BUT IT IS NOBODY'S FUCKING BUSINESS.

Not here, not in OTD, not in WA&F, not in the Mod Forum, not in the Admin Forum.

How long before you actually do what you keep saying you will do, and stop posting about this?

FOr a veteran shroomerite to come to the pub and just make up a story out of the blue is a little extreme. Im going to give Boxtop the benefit of the doubt until Roadkill comes here and atleast explains his side of the story. Was it stupid for Box to lend that much money with no paper trail? YEs...but if this story is ineed true, morally speaking, Roadkill does have an obligation to pay him back. Im not going to give Road bad ratings or condemn him for the actions allegedely signified in this post. But since this has snowballed, I think for the sake of Roadkill's trade status and reputation as a shroomery moderator, (an elite position who is supposed to represent the finest members of the shroomery) Roadkill should atleast come forth and deny these alligations if they are a fabrication or state his case. I dont know if Roadkill cares much about his ratings but people will take this story into consideration if or when he decides to trade. Im not saying thats the way it should be, just saying thats the way it is.

It is fair to say there WAS a large business transaction between Box and RK.

It is also, fair to say it is not The Shroomery's business. Nor is it Public Business. In fact, it behooves BOTH Box and RK to keep this matter private.

RK has explained his side of the story to the people he needed to explain it to. RK is still a Mod. The Admins want Mods they can TRUST, ESPECIALLY after Fungushungry. Roadkill, is STILL a Mod.

Yes it does....I for one would be pissed off if somebody stole 2000 from me but whether or not this should of been kept private...it is not now. It is Public and people here will take this post to heart. There is nothing that can be done about that now but if somebody was lying about me on a thread stating I was a thief, Id be all over it.

would you also be pissed of is someone accused you of stealing publicly, making a
huge production of it, would you be really pissed if you hadn't actualy stolen
the money... would you be pissed if it were all based on a misunderstanding
or if the other person had harassed you from the first day you recieved it...
