Uhhhh, let's stop with the vague threats.
Road is still a Mod. I'm sure he would be demodded if this were found to be true.
There is an investigation, and another side to BoxTop's story.
This is looking like a good ole witch hunt.

He would NOT be demodded since this has zero to do with the shroomery.
Cervantes, please enlighten us all to this "other side" to my story.
Basically you shouldn't be commenting on this since you obviously know nothing about it.

I know you didnt just go there... didnt you just make this thread and drag the shroomery into it... arent you defaming a mod, here at the shroomery?

you make a topic, whore it out for a day and just as I told someone you would
do yesterday, you give up the name in 'the interest of others'. looks like you
wanted the shroomery involved if you ask me.

Your assuming there's a second side.

I'd be happy to just have him say "I apolgize" and I'd say right back to him "apology accepted" and that would be that.

It's been enough time where I'm not feeling the pain of the lost money.

Really, it was the betrayal of my friendship that hurt much more than the money.

I'd like to move forward and an apology would go a long way towards that.

Well either one would be good enough, a second side or an apology would be fine by me, I've jumped into things too fast in the past, and it causes alot of shit, now, I just wait and hear things out and think about it before jumping to conclusions.

No, if what you're saying is true then you need to start being paid back. Think of how hard you worked for that money. I've been ripped off a few times myself and it still hurts.

He'll give us his side of the story soon.

He is not going to, with good reason. I think everyone should just let this drama fade away...

I've been waiting for years to hear from him, anything.

I wish this wasn't so public and yes, I wish I never started the thread. It's embarrasing.

What's done is done though.

I'd like for him to call me and we can discuss it two rational human beings.

Yes, Roadkill is going to give us his side of the story soon. And no, this shouldn't be killed until it's resolved.

The only way it gets resolved is with an apology and I would prefer to hear that from him on his own, definitely not in the public like it is now.

I'd like to like the guy again.

Listen, Boxtop you know me. I'm all for peace and love, but if he owes you money he needs to start a payment plan right now and begin paying you back.

Why in the world would you want to be friends with someone who ripped you off for $2,000 anyway??? That validates his transgression towards you.

is there any details that you have left out? any at all? because if he mentions something that you failed to mention, it would look bad.

You are a good guy Learyfan, but I wouldn't just assume what Boxtop says is the truth. You don't know if what Boxtop says is the truth, or what Roadkill says is the truth. He may have ripped him off, or he may not have.
