Some Trippy Photography
    #3822917 - 02/23/05 05:19 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

I took these pictures a couple days ago and just got around to posting them. They were taken with a digital camera, with the only alteration being a size reduction in photoshop. Enjoy, and i wanna see if anyone can guess what it is.

Those are bad-ass.

Are those like... pictures of a smoldering log giving off embers with a really long exposure time or something?

looks like that... but very cool. However you produced these images you should try adding other colors, or use different lenses, or gels.

If it is a log giving off embers, try taking a peice of garden hose, and stuffing it with copper wiring or anything copper. Leave it in the fire for a while and it will turn the fire green.

I also have some pictures where we set a bunch of snow on fire. Ill look for them and post them if i find them.

i don't remember which are which, but some are the standard shutter speed on the "night" setting of the camera (no idea on the length, i haven't read the manual yet), and others are on a long-exposure time of 1.5 sec I believe. there's really no trickery here at all...that's the cool thing.
