kind of a weird post..

I've been reading loads of American recipes about pressure cooked southern fried chicken..

Do you need a special PC for this or will any pressure cooker work?

I just thought it would be cool to do other things with a PC other than sterilising substrate and making soup/stews.  :tongue:

absolutely you can cook chicken in any pressure cooker. ideally cook a small one, or at least dont stuff it to allow the steam to circulate. cooking times depend a bit on the type of chicken and type of pressure cooker of course, but about 8 mins per 1lb should be about right.

you can cook almost anything in a pressure cooker, though i wouldn't recommend pizza or toast!

dude thats not how you make "southern" fried chicken. to make southern fried chicken you need a cast iron skillet, oil or lard, adn breading seasoned as you see fit. Thats it. when you finish you use hte grease in the pan to make the gravy for the mashed potatoes, then open a can of corn. Easy as pie and so delicious. Peace

i dont know about karma... but if you regularly have exposed foil in there, those sediments dont wash out well and are known to cause alzheimers. my PCs also probably have some bleach residues...

but on the real, are you gonna try to imitate the 'secret' recipe or what? theres still one mystery herb that the lab never figured out you know... i have the analysis results in a book.
