New Experience Report Submission Form?

Submit an Experience Report

We are looking for well written reports that could help others who find themselves in similar situations. .

We are specifically looking for reports that describe more than just a list of activities that you engaged in...we are looking for descriptions of mindset, physicial and mental effects of a substance, intentions, insights, problems, etc. If this is a description of an experience with a psychoactive plant or chemical, we are more likely to use it if it includes the following type of information:

* Description of Mindset & Setting
* Details of any preparations made for the experience
* Dosage & Timing Information
* Notes on prescription or over-the-counter medications, herbs or supplements you were taking at the time of the experience.


Not all reports are approved and displayed. Each report eventually goes through a review process to select for readability and usefulness. We receive more than two dozen submissions a day and the average report takes more than six months to be reviewed. Some reports are read more quickly, and some reports even older than that are still awaiting review. Please be patient.


In order to obtain more accurate and specific to-the-point information regarding personal experiences with Psilocybes, an Erowid-like format for Experience Report Submissions should be highly considered by the Administrators and Moderators of the Shroomery.
A sample format could include the following fields for submission:

Preparation Method of Substance:

Body Weight :

Gender :

Age:

Date or Year of Experience :

Time of Dosage (ex 9:30pm):

Well, we can't just rip off Erowid for their submission form. I myself am not well versed enough to be able to make all the PHP and database business function correctly, so it would largely be up to Anno or Seuss to tackle this project. We do currently have a submission form for trip reports, though granted, it could be improved.

In short, your idea is excellent, but there is limited time on our hands and many things that need to be done.

Lookin' good.

But one thing: Can you make those fields permanent 'fill in the blank' fields that way you'll get the info in a mandatory way? Otherwise, many people will probably be too vague or altogether leave out this info.
