There is a Trip Tips forum.
And everyone can submit a trip report to the Trip Reports section.
There is no need for a trip report forum.

I suppose.  But isn't the trip reports section of this website only for shroom-related trips?  There're a lot of other interesting reports that get posted in among various places -- usually Other Drugs, Trip Tips, etc.... 

I just figured that since people were posting the thigns anyway, it might be a good idea to make them a little more manageable and easier to find.  :smile:

I've heard a few people in other places say things like, "Well, that's what Erowid's for," except Erowid isn't the Shroomery, and doesn't have, well, community like the Shroomery does.

Trip Reports, Dream Log, and Tomato Growing - A forum for members to report their psychedelic experiences, record their dreams, and also discuss the cultivation of tomatoes.

Well, there may be a kernel of an idea in there somewhere...

Sounds like an idea, I thought it was a little odd that there isn't specifically a Trip Report forum, and putting a few things together might save space/make things simpler.

Actually, I have always had a difficult time trying to figure out the difference between the Trip Tips forum and the General Questions forum.

It seems that Trip Tips is pretty dead, other than the occasional 'What music is good' posts and 'My Trip Report' posts. To be fair, it has picked up recently, but in the past I have seen it go several days without new posts.

Why not combine Trip Tips and General Questions into one forum and change Trip Tips into Trip Reports? I see trip reports posted all over, though most of them end up in Trip Tips.

This is why I asked members to prefix their thread title with the phrase, "Trip Report" in the Trip Tips forum Guidelines. This way, you can view all the trip reports in the forum by searching for that entire phrase over the entire post history of the forum.

A Trip Report section is a great idea imo. Trip Tips could be changed around a bit I'm sure.
