yea, which is better for grain jars, polyfill or tyvek?

also, i read 6T's faq on WBS and he said leave the sunflower seeds in, is this accurate or should the sunflower seeds be taken out?

You could do both as I have read in many teks... Im doing a pollyfill over tyvek right now.
Take out anything that floats... empty shells and such don't help that much.

I prefer Polyfill over Tyvek for breathability. Using a single 1/4" hole with Polyfill, then covering with 2 coffee filters, and screwing retainer ring on makes for a really clean look + well performing.

Polyfill works well, and is cheap.
haven't played with Tyvek yet, but polyfill works just fine for me.
