ID-Help, Peruvian Torch?
    #3700009 - 01/29/05 08:41 PM (19 years, 2 months ago)

I just found this beautiful cacti earlier today, at first guess I thought it might be some sort of trichocereus. If anybody could help me with the ID it would be much appreciated. Ohh yeah, the height is about 5" and width 2 1/4" at the thickest part.

-Peace

Thanks for the quick response.  Ohhh well *sighs*, maybe better luck next time, I'll enjoy having the little guy around either way .  What are some tell-tell signs of a tric. for next time?

Faslimy got it right on.

Have a look at my Yahoogroups Photos section for some ID help.

I got a ton of new photos to add, but just got to find the will to settle down to add them. I was thinking about adding a folder of plants that are commonly mistaken for Trichocereus, and T. peruvianus in particular.
