Hello everyone, I just got back from the store (not sure if you allow sources posted so if anyone is interested pm me) I bought two cacti, both a suspected peruvian torch. I am hoping someone could verify this for me?
They have a couple years to go before i cut them (if I can wait that long!) One stands at 7' inches and the other is reaching around 7.5 inches. I spent less than 6 dollars altogether at 2.84 a piece before taxes.

Peruvian torches have much shorter needles, they look more like tufts than spines

so are they not hallucinogenic? I assumed peruvian torch but would be happy with san pedro or any of the alkaloid containing species. Here is a bigger picture of them at these links-
If they have no mind expanding properties I will be dissapointed but not broke at $3 a piece

I've gotten over a dozen cacti in the last month, and had to have them all Id'd. I just thought some on them looked like the ones I have. Right down to the hot glued flower and the plastic wraper with the donkey on it.
