Big or small vermiculite in pf jars * 1

It's been a while since a foaf made pf jars,2 people got vermiculite for this. 1 bag has little tiny grains the other has chunks 4 times the size of the first bag. Which would be best for colonization in the jars.The small stuff is Hoffmans the large is some discount store deal.

Use the small stuff for the vermiculite barrier, and a mix of the big and small in the substrate. 1:1 ratio should be good.
