BC has more mushrooms than anywheres! Except we don't have cubensis. Mushroom season is mainly in the fall. Get your Liberty Caps in the cow fields around Langley and also check out the grassy boulevards around the Vanc Int. airport. I've never picked around the airport, I thnk Ps. cyanescens may grow there.

i'd say langley is your best bet. there are always people on the boulevard near the airport on their hands and knees. and i'll be damned if they are all looking for lost contact lenses. it is usually picked out.

i'm pretty busy so i couldn't go but any time around september-november is prime though they will probably be around a month or two on either side. i'm not too sure about the other months but i'm sure some species are around then.

Wait untill the fall rains. It's the middle of summer, it like 90 degrees today...you won't find anything! By the way, if you are in Washington state, you don't need to come all the way to Langley. They grow in Washington as well. There is a road which runs along the Fraser River east from Ft. Langley. Cow fields on both sides. Lots of shrooms as well....when it rains in the fall.
