Help! Last ditch effort

Alrighty I ended up with 12 uncontaminated fully colonized 1/2 pints. I then proceeded to put them in a perlite humidified aquarium. They were in there for two weeks growing little fuzzies, but not pining. I decide the temp was too high, but when I dropped the temp they still did not pin. I have decided that the first two weeks just dried out the cakes and they need to be seriously rejuvinated. So right now I'm looking for suggestions for a tub casing method that uses crumbled cakes. I think this will be the best method for getting the cakes the moisture they need. Any ideas?

You may want to go ahead and give them a 12 hour dunk in water and rehydrate them even if you are going to case them.
