azures in michigan???

I've read around the net for a while but have not found my answer yet (I proly coulda tried a little harder but oh well) this last november actually november 15th in central michigan I stumbled across a couple of decomposing stumps with beetween 7-14 s on top of the stumps. They looked just like some pictures of azures I have seen (skinny stems, little brown round caps that come to a point) can anyone tell me if those grow in michigan or not I didnt print them because I didnt really think about it but thanks for any help.

Theye don't grow in Michigan unless someone planted them there. I've never heard of them growing from a stump. They instantly bruise a deep blue; this is the easiest way to distinguish them from inactive LBMs.

Yeah I didnt figure I'd be that lucky they just looked exactly like all the pictures I have seen oh well. thank you.
