I have been having the worst luck lately with cars. I say we abolish motor vehicles and go back to the days of horse drawn carriages.

You mean the combustion engine sucks and we should abolish it and go forward to more eco-friendly solutions like all-electric power celled cars or maybe hydro(pun so intended for audience)gen powered cars?

i think the government here in america is taking drastic steps to prevent electric or other types of cars from prevailing because they would lose alot of money due to oil taxes and stuff.

But I do have a soft spot for 'Stangs.  My first car (given to me by my father 2 years before I could even drive) was a '65 Mustang.  It served me well for many years.  I even drove that bitch to college!

My first car was a 1972 BMW 2002tii. I bought it from Harry Connick, Sr. I still have it. One day I'll get it fixed up.

i learned to hate cars on my first acid trip. i remember standing on the curb by the street, just watching these 2000 pound pieces of metal flying by at innnnnnsane speeds...I was engulfed in their lights and they wouldn't let me go. i was told i just kept saying, half laughing, half crying, and half screaming, "the cars!! THE CARS!!! THE CARS!!!!!!"
they bugged me the fuck out, heheh :grin: i got over it though, but now i hate cars.

I have been through many cars in the last 10 years. My first was a 1980 buick regal with a serious antifreeze leak, traded up for an 87 monte carlo ss. Now THAT car I liked, but it gave me so much engine trouble I just gave up and traded it in before it broke me...after that I drove a 92 lumina and it was good to me until someone smashed into it. I have this pos 92 pontiac 5000 with no heater or defrost which sucks in the midwest winter, but it runs. I also have a different 92 lumina which I bought as a replacement for the other lumina...and not 4 months later, a spark plug falls out, the threading is completely stripped, and they have to take the head off completely to get to this shit, so basically, if I pay to have this repaired, its going to cost me almost as much as the original cost of the car. I also have no chance in hell of getting financing on a new car, so I'm kinda of screwed.

Yeah. I hate cars. :mad:

i had a 1992 ford escort.....worked fine for like the first few weeks i had it. then i started getting fuel system problems. first the filter, then the pump, then the injectors....replaced them all, but after a few more weeks i started having the same problems again. i would get low on gas, and the thing would not want to drive. not a big deal, just kept gas in it. well, after a few months i ended up driving over this huge fucking rock in the middle of the road and put a crack in my gas tank. i was broke as hell, and tired of the car anyway so i didnt fix it. but heres the new situation....if i fill my tank over half way the fuel leaks out. if i let it get below a quarter tank, it wont drive. i drove around for a few months like this, keeping my gas guage inbetween 1/2 and 1/4 full at all times....lol
