Nothing quite like waking up on a cold winter morning filling your bong with a few handfulls of freshly fallen snow and sparkin one up cuz a blizzard closed down your town.

It still hasnt snowed once here. I dont know what the hell is going on but we usually have a ton by now. I miss it.

I think the original post was referencing to using a regular glass bong, and instead of putting ice cubes or cold water to filter out the smoke, put some fluffy fresh snow in there. I've never done it, but if it works like crushed up ice did then it may be pretty nice to try.

as there is no natural snow in Melbourne, synthetic snow (from freezer) is preferable.

That's right, nice fluffy powdery snow. The heavy wet stuff just clogs it up. And after it's frozen and thawed a few times it gets really hard and doesn't work well either. Thats why ya gotta use the freshly fallen snow.

We got 14" over the last day and a half.

Damn, I had to find out what a snow bong is when I have plenty of snow and no weed. That does sound really nice, though, especially since I'm too lazy to get crushed ice for a bong usually.
