MAGGOTS?!?

Well.. this is kinda strange.
Rye berry bags were innoculated w/ Thai Koh-Samui. After about 2.5 weeks..
they were remembered.. and introducded to the compost. In one of the bags, there were small orange looking larva moving around ( maggots? ) ..

After @ 10 days.. the compost was checked. It looks real healthy.. & almost completely colonized. Upon examining the top.. there was a pool of water that had 3 < 1cm long white wormish looking things wiggling around in it.. there were a few on the sides also.. yeah, GROSS.

Any idea on what is up? Are they harmful?

I had that happen once. Make sure to pasteurise the compost next time.
No they're not harmful. But they are TEWDALLY GREWS DEWD!!:)

High in protein! they must be tripping thier tiny lil' balls off. Lol

Instead of the dove as the symbol of peace we should have a pillow. Its got more feathers but doesnt have that nasty sharp beak......

I can't see the maggots but the flys are around the shrooms. But I know those fucking maggots are there. I just have to close my eyes and take a big bite and hope they don't survive my stomach.
