Parking in Amsterdam ?

Any Dutch guys in the pub ?
We`ll be going to Scotland this January. The flight is from Schiphol Airport and we`re going to park the car for four days.
Unfortunately the Airport charges a total of 50,- Euro and I know lots of better ways to spend that money in A`dam...
We tried the Sports Arena, but it`s about as expensive.
So, does anyone have an advice were to park the car without spending a fortune ?
A safe place near a bus or subway station would be great.
BTW, we`re looking forward to spend some time in beautiful Scotland and amazing A`dam !!! :laugh: :crazy2:

Parking on the street is expensive in Amsterdam. You can get a day pass for around 12 euros, the exact price depends on where you park but it doesn't change that much from zone to zone, so I guess 50 euros for four days of private parking is more or less a fair deal, sorry. here is the site of the most hated city office in Amsterdam, they do have some international info on parking here. I'm afraid you're stuck with paying 50 euros at the parking garage.
