Taking Salvia Cuttings

Heya guys, I am going to take cuttings off my plant tonite and this is how I will be doing it. I was just wondering about rooting hormones, I don't have any and was wondering if I my cuttings may not root because of this. Also it doesn't mention putting the cuttingsunder a plastic bag while they are sitting in the glass of water... Should I do this or will it just cause more trouble reaclimatising the cutting back to normal room humidity?

You don't need hormone.

If your plant isn't suffering too much from the ambient humidity already, then just leave it.
