help with piano

When I was little I was on the road to being an excellent piano player but got sick of it and when I broke my elbow in 4th grade I used it as an excuse to quit...well I just got a new keyboard and I want to relearn starting from scratch, the bottom-up..anyone know any good music instruction websites?

I use to be awesome at piano, I mean really good. I had a great teacher too, some old lady who was one of the nicest people I have ever met, and boy could she teach piano.

I would suggest just getting a teacher, it will be much easier/better then trying to basically teach yourself.

unless you want to play classical...

jam out man...

if you want to play jazz it may be fruitful to take lessons and learn some music theory. I saw the midi keyboard that you got, and it is more geared towards music entry on a computer for something like notation on Finale. It only has 49 keys, so its an octave short of a standard 61 key keyboard. I was looking for more specs on it and I could find any information about polyphonics.......................................................um..... I do not know where I am going with this.
