Hornsby Rocks

I just downloaded a Bruce Hornsby show from '02 and it's sounding great! I always knew he was talented but I didn't know his band was so good.

Bruce was by far the most talented keyboardist that ever played with the dead.
Pigpen can never be replaced as for vocals and energy.
But nobody, not Pigpen, Keith, Brent or vince came even close to Bruce's playing.
He was a perfect fit for the dead.
Imagine the Band with branford and brent all playing.
Wonderful nights that all melt into a dream. :gd_icon:

Dont even try an say Roger was better than him...
Whenever i hear Hornsby it has allways been the same for 20 yrs,,
He never changed at all with his keyboards...reputition allways comes to mind whenever i hear him :crying:
Hopkins played on Goats Head Soup with the Stones for starters...there isnt any comparison at all as far as who was a true musician ...This is just my opinion of course

I'm refering to keyboard players who played with the Grateful Dead :gd_icon:
Hopkins didn't play for the Dead.
As for reputition you never heard Bruce play with the Dead have you.
