I had a Wreck

I had a wreck this morning about 11 o'clock. I am still waiting on my family to take me to the emergency room. My knee is very swollen and I can't put any pressure on it. I was travelling down a road when this car slammed on its brakes. The road is very icy .... you don't slam on your brakes. People don't seem to understand this. Anyway I put on mine lightly and turned the wheel towards someones yard. Well I HIT A DAMN TELEPHONE POLE. I was only going about 5 - 10 miles an hour but my air bags deployed. I face planted into it and slammed my knee into something in my car. I think my knee is shattered. It hurts like crazy and my family doesn't care enough to take me to the hospital. This is a freaking great Christmas Present.

I don't drive myself, but it still enrages me when people don't think of simple things like gently braking when they drive...grrr...and when they don't indicate....more grrr...

I dunno when I hit the pole my car went into a weird spin. I was prolly doing like 10 - 15 mph. I don't really remember as I drove home and passed out after calling someone to come get me.

At least you didn't hit the car in front of you. Hitting somebody from behind is almost always the fault of the person in back for not keeping their vehicle under control. Even if the fucktard in front of you slammed on their brakes on the ice/snow. People drive like retards after the first big snow of any season.

Update: I have Torn what little Miniscus I have way from the bone. The ysent me home with Loritabs and an ice bag/patch/holder thingy. Its pretty cool though. no pun intended. Thats for the Love guys.

my cousin was driving down the freeway and the person in front of him rear ended someone, so he tried to stop, but hit the guy in front, just barely, and he was alright, nothing could be hurt, as he was going so slow, so like 30 seconds later he started to get out of the car, and BAM airbag deploys. It hit him right in the chest, and slammed him into his seat (it was a small truck) and threw his arm into the back window and shaddered the window and cut his arm all up... he was fine other than that.... stupid airbag...

glad all is well, was it just bruising or did you break/dislocate it?

usually if you can feel it at the time then its probably serious, unfortunatly.
